Show Post Preview Thumbnail in Social Calendar Date Cells

Social Media Manager Automation → Social Calendar (Month View & Week View)

🧩 Current Behavior

In the Social Calendar (Month View & Week View), each date cell currently displays:

• Scheduled time(s)

• Social media platform icons

• Status indicators (Needs Approval / Scheduled / Published)

• Count of posts per day

However, the calendar only shows posts as list-style entries within each date cell.

There is no visual preview of the actual post content (image/video/text graphic).

🚀 Expected / Improved Behavior

Enhance the calendar UI to display a preview thumbnail of the post inside the date cell, similar to Screenshot #2 reference.

🎯 Enhancement Requirements:

1. Display Post Thumbnail

   • Show the preview image or video thumbnail as the background of the date cell.

   • Thumbnail should be:

     • Blended at 70% opacity

     • Use Lighter Color Blend Mode

   • Ensure the preview does not overpower overlay elements.

2. Overlay Must Remain Clearly Visible
   The following elements must remain readable and visually prioritized on top of the preview:

   • Date number

   • Holiday icon (if applicable)

   • Post Type Icon:

     • Text Graphics

     • Photo Style

     • AI Video

     • Personal Asset

     • AI Clone

   • Social media platform icons (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

   • Post status indicators:

     • Needs Approval

     • Scheduled

     • Published

3. Multiple Posts in a Single Day (This scenario happens due to Smart Timing)

   • If multiple posts exist:

     • Show the first post preview as background

     • Display a subtle “+X more” indicator or stacking visual cue

4. UI/UX Goals

   • Make the calendar visually engaging

   • Improve at-a-glance content recognition

   • Reduce need to click into individual posts to understand what is scheduled

   • Maintain clean and non-cluttered layout

5. Tooltip Enhancements (NEW)

   Add hover tooltips for the following icons inside the calendar cell:

• Supports image posts, video posts (thumbnail), AI-generated graphics, and personal assets.
